    • Commissioning Ceremony
      • Broadcast will likely be on Zoom – can broadcast for 100 people for free
      • Guests/gifts for guests/Founding Member Gifts – Jared/Laurie
        • Test Item looks great
        • All gifts should be in and ready by late next week
      • Invitations/Programs/Script
        • Invites have been mailed and received
        • Script is nearly done
          • gave Mike a draft; will update with other names for those who will speak
          • Bernard will read Awards
          • Need someone to read Invocation and Benediction
        • Program will be finished when we know who will read last parts
      • Refreshments/Lunch
        • Marsha/Earl prepped shopping list and handed out for votes on favorite items
        • Earl will post a poll on the FB page with restaurant suggestions for a vote on lunch place
      • Decorations
        • Bernard has SFI and Marine flags and poles
        • Laurie has US flag and pole
        • Laurie bought bunting and crepe paper
        • Laurie will print SFI and Regional Logos to cardstock for display
      • Recruitment Flyers
        • Bernard is reviewing some flyers he has to see if they will work
        • If they need a small update, we can put labels on them with current info
      • Dee volunteered to take photos at the Ceremony – Laurie will also bring a digital camera
    • Ship’s Logo – Marsha’s design
      • Finalized by Marsha
      • Dee brought first digital version to share
        • Looking great!
        • Need to add dash in registry number
        • Grey border needs tweaking
    • Awards/Promotions
      • Laurie will email the Command Staff the list of awards by August 1st
      • Command Staff should make comments, list any additional awards they are aware of by August 8th
      • Laurie will then make certificates for presentation at Commissioning
    • STARFLEET Election Season now here
      • Laurie encouraged members to ask FLEET-level questions to CS/VCS candidates
      • Also encouraged members to post their responses and the time it took to get one to the FB page (share with other members)

    • Next Fun Meeting
      • ABQ BioPark & possibly Botanic Gardens
        • August 13th @ 10:00 am
        • Meet at the BioPark so Earl & Marsha can use passes to get us in!
        • Need to decide a few days before if group wants to go to Botanic Gardens also
        • Train no longer runs to/from Botanic Gardens
    • Next Business Meeting – technically, Bubonicon!
