Today, the USS White Sands held a regular meeting to discuss our ongoing projects and future plans. While there were no significant updates from the Medical, Sciences, or Tactical/MSG departments, several other areas had important developments.
The Communications officer requested that members send any contributions for the newsletter. Engineering reported that adoption certificates are completed. The Conn officer announced a trip to Los Alamos on September 7th and provided carpooling information. Operations shared details about the BBQ on August 31st at the CO’s house.
Counseling suggested Raised By Wolves as an alternative fundraiser option.
During the Old Business portion of the meeting, we discussed the recent IC Report, ship awards for this year, Bubonicon, and the Tribbles project. We also addressed the Albuquerque Comic Con, where the USS White Sands will not have an official presence.
In New Business, we discussed the White Sands Ship Build project and the importance of focusing on charity work first. We also reminded members about the membership update/renewal process.
Overall, the meeting was productive and provided valuable updates on our various projects. We look forward to continuing our work and making a positive impact on our community.
