Meeting started at approximately 1:15 pm – accident on northern route to the house, so waiting for everyone to arrive.

  • Report from Engineering (Dee)
    • New Logos to work with for MSG, shirts, other branding
      • Thanks to Josef and Dee for the great concepts!
      • Lots of discussion about Zia symbol
      • Troy will contact the Pueblo to seek approval for usage (technically, we don’t need to, but we’d like to)
    • Flyers and other docs for Cons underway – need new name tags for name badges that White Sands will have
  • Report from Comms (Gene)
    • Discord Server ready to go
      • Limited to FLEET members only
      • Laurie to send Gene a list of our members & SCC numbers for approval
    • Website – Design for Ship Memorial Page?
    • Newsletters out this month
    • Handbook
      • Will create two versions: digital and printable
      • Need to form a committee to examine
        • Gene and Laurie will be members
        • Dee and David have volunteered

  • Report from Conn (Jared)
    • Meeting at Atomic Museum worked well; should use for out-of-town meet ups
    • Conn will be taking the CO out of town for two weeks
  • Report from Medical (Christine)
    • CPR Training
      • Will be combined CPR/AED/First Aid course
      • Limited to 6 people per session
      • Will have a cost associated with it to recoup Josef’s fees and get the certification ($45)
      • Arrange sometime in June(?)
    • MS Walk on 4/15 – one of the best fund-raising rookie teams!
  • Report from Ops (Troy)
    • Trinity trip on 4/1/23 – great time!
    • Eclipse – Total Solar Eclipse – October 14th (9:13 am -12:09 pm)
      • This is the last Saturday of Balloon Fiesta
      • UNM Observatory has not gotten back to Troy, so will do cookout at Laurie & Jared’s
      • Laurie will check and see if she can reserve the Community Center in Mariposa for the event
      • Please invite anyone in FLEET who might be interested!
    • Upcoming Conventions
      • Duke City Comic Con (June 16-18)
        • We’ve got a space
        • Probably look into buying tickets soon (save a few dollars!)
      • Roswell Fest (weekend of July 4th) – Troy is going and will have space if anyone else wants to go
      • Fan EXPO Denver (June 30-July 2) – Laurie is going and would be happy to try to arrange carpooling if needed
      • Bubonicon (August 25-27)
        • Will have two panels: Laurie’s Trekkin’ Across the Multiverse and Troy’s Multiverse panel
        • Looking at hosting the Con Suite for 2 hours to hold our Anniversary Party/Awards Ceremony there
      • NM Comic & Film Expo is unfortunately cancelled again this year (this may be one we’re going to lose)

    • Watermelon Mountain Ranch volunteer forms
      • They’d love us to come help with any events and work at the ranch

    • Finances – Will need to start fundraising for website
    • Bob’s Memorial Service (Elene’s husband) – May 13th at Holiday Dance Studio from 12:30pm to 3:00pm

      • Laurie will mock up one for approval
    • PetFLEET Rank System
      • Now that we have members of PetFLEET, we should develop a rank system for them
